VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

2008

Fundraising:

We rely on fundraising events to pay for general maintenance of the Brandon Bears organization.  Fundraising events will also be used to pay for additional tents, water coolers and other items needed for upkeep of the organization.

Volunteering:

We need your help in order to have a successful season.  Board members are volunteers that work all year long to insure a successful season.  We cannot do all the work. Each squad/team must provide parent volunteers for the following areas during games:

• Fundraising Booth

• Donation booth

• Concession Stand both practice field and Bloomingdale

            -  Drinks are provided to volunteers while working

All volunteers will show respect toward everyone at the field.  10 hours of volunteer work is required per family.  We welcome grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends to help complete volunteer hours.  You will be assigned a date and time to work by the Volunteer Coordinator.  If you are unable to work on your assigned day you will be responsible for filling this spot.  Any family who does not meet their volunteer hours will not be able to register their child as a returning player the following season and will have to sign up as a new player/cheerleader. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!
